All About Atlas Orthogonal
What exactly is an Atlas Orthogonist?
The Atlas Orthogonist is a licensed Doctor of
Chiropractic who, in addition to six or more years of education,
utilizes a light force method of adjusting the cervical spine. This
method is gentle and effective and requires post graduate training.
How does this unique method differ from
General Chiropractic treatment?
One of the most obvious differences is the gentle,
painless way in which he works. No strenuous manipulation is ever
employed or needed. The Atlas Orthogonist's methods require such light
touches to the affected area that patients, who may expect more forceful
manipulations as part of their treatment, find it hard to believe that
anything effective has been accomplished. Their doubts and fears quickly
vanish when their pain and discomfort disappear.
How does gentle treatment work?
The Atlas Orthogonist works
in a way which speeds and encourages the body's own healing process. The
doctor aids that process by gently adjusting the cervical vertebrae back
toward normal alignment, thus helping the entire body. The
Chiropractor's patients, men, women, and children, soon realize that
health care need not be harsh or painful to be effective. Prevention and
early detection of misalignments through regular checkups is the key to
natural health. Who can benefit from
an Atlas Orthogonist?
Almost anyone who is experiencing pain. Not just those who suffer from
pain and stiffness in the back, but also those who are afflicted by such
common conditions as: recurrent headaches, muscular aches of unknown
origin, numbness or pain in the shoulders, the arms or legs as well as
sciatica, "slipped discs",... even conditions such as hay fever, high
blood pressure and rheumatism to mention a few, may be relieved by the
skills of an Atlas Orthogonist. Since the spine is the central core of
the human body, it is vitally important that it be examined on a
periodic basis... even though there are no apparent signs of trouble. |
